Who We Are

SERAMA is a non-profit professional organization. Since its inception, membership has grown to include several dozen media members as well as these automakers: General Motors, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Honda/ Acura, Mazda, Nissan, Volkswagen, Subaru, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai and Ford.

SERAMA consists of members of the media, influencers, automotive manufacturers representing and public relations professionals who represent the automotive segment. Our purposes are to provide insights on the latest news in the business, offer car reviews so that our members and viewers can learn about the latest cars from knowledgeable independent sources as well as serve as a professional networking opportunity for members. Our members are also available to provide expert insights to local, regional and national media outlets. Ben Laremont has worked in the Engineering industry for over 10 years. As an Aerospace Engineer in the Atlanta area with a strong passion for cars, Ben enjoys focusing on the engineering principles involved in the automotive design process. With a strong knowledge of Aerodynamics, and vehicle mechanics, Ben is able to critique and review high end exotics to economy level vehicles.

PRESIDENT EMERITUS

Derik Page is the president emeritus of GAAMA (now SERAMA)and has over 14 years experience in the automotive industry. He is currently working as an analyst and consultant. Outside of the automotive industry, he enjoys spending time with his family and serving his community.

Steve Parrett

PRESIDENT EMERITUS

Steve Parrett has worked for Nissan North America for the past 20 years. Currently he is the Corporate Communications Manager for the Center and South regions of the U.S. His other roles within the company included: manager of communications for Nissan Motor Acceptance Company, LLC, manager of Manufacturing Communications, and manager of Treasury Communications. Steve has also served as a consultant for some of the nation’s largest Insurance companies training top executives how to deal effectively with the media in interview situations. He served on the board of the Middle Tennessee chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Middle Tennessee, Columbia Academy Board of Trustees. He also served as a consulting member of the American Financial Services Association.
